Re/Framing: Creativity, Culture, Computation

How is generative AI transforming creative endeavours and industries?

Re/Framing is an academic/creative/industrial gathering that will explore the transformation of creativity and the creative fields by generative artificial intelligence tools; in particular, this event will explore the opportunities and innovations enabled by the sustainable and ethical use of tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Leonardo.Ai, and Suno, in film, TV, music, advertising, audio production, and other areas.

Keynotes, panels, and workshop sessions will inspire and incubate ideas around AI's capabilities to solve complex creative and cognitive challenges, or how tools might integrate into creative workflows; also considered will be methods for observing, reading, using, and analysing AI-generated media. Participants will also engage in guided practical, interactive workshops and hackathons, using genAI tools to solve problems, visualise stories, and imagine new futures.
